Interview with Josh Kelley - Recording Artist

Born in Augusta, Georgia Josh Kelley began his musical career at the age of 11. He released his indie album, Changing Faces, in 2001, and signed with Hollywood Records in 2002.  He had a subsequent radio hit with his song “Amazing”, produced by Dave Matthews Band producer John Alagia.  Kelley maintains that his initial signing to Hollywood Records was partially due to his aggressive online campaigns that targeted record execs and fans.

Kelley remains a supporter of social networking sites for independent artists who have a difficult time receiving an audience and is a big believer in taking the independent approach when releasing new music.

Kelley garnered worldwide attention when he married actress Katherine Heigl on December 23, 2007, after meeting her on the shoot for the music video for his song ‘Only You’ in 2005.
